The
football club now runs a total of four adult and four boys teams
and the junior are awaiting the result of their application for
F.E. Youth Charter standard.

A
successful season, first team were runners up in the
Suffolk Junior Cup, also runners up in Kershaw Senior
A, and a mixture of 1st, Reserve and 'A' side winning
Hundon Coronation Cup. The Reserves missed promotion by three
points, but won Kedington Charity Cup. The 'A' team finished
just below mid table, but won the A.P. Brimsden shield.

one hundred guests, players and supporters

down to the Annual Dinner/Dance evening. The

F.A. have inspected the ground and dressing rooms,
and with some work to be done to obtain standard, the promotion
to Kershaw Premier was granted. This work the club guaranteed
to be done for the kick
off on Tuesday 14th August.
The
first team are now senior and three officials will be
appointed to their games.
The
football club proposes to charge £1
entrance for all first team league games and Cambs cup games.
Also it is hoped a match programme will be aroduced.
No charge for reserve games. The 'A' team will play their home
games at Notts Field, Haverhill.

Jnfortunately
the three youth teams and adult 'A' side will have to play outside
the village. The three colts
league sides will use (he Village Hall field and the
far side of the football field.
