3rd Plough Beer Festival

September24-27th.

The theme is "Local Treasures 2- A Celebration of East Anglian Booze" and there will be local cider, wine and lager as well as 18+ of the region's finest brews.

We've got some great bands lined up as well with
OFF THE RECORD (3 piece, rock, 50's, 60's and 70's) on Friday 25th September 2009 at 8pm,
THEM HARVEY BOYS! (Sensational Bluegrass 5 piece band) on Saturday 26th September 2009 at 8pm and
WAVE PRECINCT (Young talented acoustic duo) on Sunday 27th September 2009 at 2pm.

The Plough at Brockley Green, Hundon is an independent country pub where food, wine and real ales are our passion. We refurbished our accommodation in 2007 to create 8 en suite bedrooms – B&B with style! We are close to Cambridge, Newmarket and Clare - ideal for a relaxing break.

Our chefs are renowned for their daily specials and homemade pies. We use local steaks and game with fish from Lowestoft. We serve local real ales.

The Bell Hotel, Clare
 

The Bell Hotel is a beautiful half-timbered coaching inn dating back to the 16th century, situated in the small market town of Clare.

The sixteen en-suite bedrooms have been tastefully furnished and all have full facilities. Ground floor rooms are also available.  Lovely bars and lounge and very reasonably priced meals from a great menu. The Bell web site is HERE

The Bell hosts modern jazz every other Sunday evening featuring the Jazz Nights Trio (Roger Odell, Simon Browne & Bernie Hodgkins - vocals by Larraine Odell) with a top class UK special guest. for the programme click HERE

The Bell also hosts an over 50s ladies coffee morning which is held every Tuesday 10-11.30am in the Garden Room. Coffee £1.00, Tea 50p.
