At the May Parish Council Meeting:

After many years of service to the Parish Council, Cllr D Claydon has decided to resign. Cllr D Rowlinson has been elected as the new Chairman, with Cllr G Spooner as Vice-Chairman.  The vacant position for Parish Councillor has been filled by Mr P Impey after an uncontested election.

The annual audit of the Parish Council's accounts for the year ended 31st March 2007 has been completed by Lubbock Fine, and the certified copy of the Annual Return for that year is being posted on the Village Hall verge notice board.

Hundon is a very attractive village in the West Suffolk countryside with many amenities including the village shop, two public houses, (the Rose & Crown) in the heart of the village and The Plough at Brockley Green. Large playing fields cater for football, cricket and many other sporting activities. The village hall holds regular events which attracts many visitors from outside the area.
